About Partnering
Halo management is currently negotiating licensing agreements with two classes of customers; manufacturers who will powder coat their products in the finishing lines of their own factories; regionally based custom coating contract shops that will coat the products for small to mid-size manufacturers.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Licensee Program
Due to the nature of the Halo Technology, the company has the ability to also license by product. Halo is currently evaluating offers for the licensing of the Halo Process to numerous large OEMs in several markets.
In addition to an upfront fee and/or take or pay contract, all licensing agreements will include the following terms:
A. If the OEM licensee applies Halo ‘in house’ they will be bound to purchase all equipment and materials for the process from Halo and our partners. This price will be set forth in the licensing agreement.
B. The licensing agreements will be product specific, meaning that a company making wheelchairs will be licensed for wheelchairs only. An additional license will be required for other products they choose to manufacture utilizing Halo’s technology.
C. Halo will consult on a paid basis to any licensee regarding equipment needs, line changes and all other information required for the coating process.
D. If the OEM licensee does not apply Halo ‘in house’ they will utilize the Network of Regional Custom Coaters.
E. The OEM licensee will agree to use the “Halo” brand name on any and all licensed products.
Regionally Based Custom Coaters
The Custom Coater Licensing Program will work in a manner similar to the licensing system for OEM's detailed above.
Product Sales
Halo sells two products to its licensees; a proprietary resin and a reflective blend application that adds the nighttime visibility to Halo Hi-Viz Coatings.
